I have found other interesting projects surfing the web:

• Oap.sourceforge.net: this project have very well documented all the hardware part of the project, it will be a reference for me and I will use some of the modules. It makes all the connections with the hardware using I2C, my board have it, but I prefer to use something that is available in all the computers (RS-232)
• Robotillo: it's in spanish, and it has a little bit of information. I have contacted the author in order to get more information
